Welcome to ALL skill levels (everyone is an artist!), our goal will be to create something beautiful together while learning from one another about how we build the future we want to live in: where we care for our neighbors, hold one another accountable, and have our material, emotional, social, and spiritual needs met.

While some art supplies will be provided, feel free to bring your favorite materials and mediums to work with.

Volunteer Day (Garden Clean-Up)

Come lend a hand and get your hands in the soil at Griffin Gardens! Our volunteer days are a chance to support a growing neighborhood flower farm and community space in Detroit. Whether we’re planting, weeding, harvesting, spreading mulch, or doing garden clean-up, there’s always meaningful work to be done — and many hands make light work.

No gardening experience is needed — just a willingness to learn and a love for being outdoors. You’ll leave with a deeper connection to the land, a better understanding of how flowers are grown, and the joy of contributing to a space that serves as a pollinator habitat and gathering place for the community.
